Stab

I liked this one a lot and your experience with FL is really starting to shine through. I can tell you're starting to get a grasp on all the features and intricacies and whatnot. Plus it's a blessing not to have it sound like all the other FL dribble on here haha.

Loved the funky feeling and groove you've got going. The strings in there were a pretty sweet addition. As always, drums are flawless and the fills worked wonders. Great variety of instruments here too. I also really liked the bass, it shined through the song and I like it when a song has that aspect.

Fav'd it, dunno if this is really pop - I guess though *shrug*. This is my favorite of the recents that you've submitted. As always, I wish it was longer but hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it right? Nice Job.

Thanks as always.
Several people have pegged this one as funk, maybe I'll change the genre.
The bass was actually the first thing I started with, then came stabs, drums, and strings, and the song sort of evolved from there.
Appreciate it.

OnFire

Nice job with this loop pants, I wanted a bit more effects and I thnk with time you could have added. It is short but it works well that way. The song could do with lengthening but that's really up to you. And you can really notice the prodigy drum fill in there. Lol, even before I read the description I picked that out. You might wanna ask your friend to lay a sick guitar riff over this, real heavy and the like. I think that'd be sick.

Anyways nice job on this one!

Thanks.
I actually did this one for some guys trailer, it got blammed, and I decided to upload this anyway.

This is perfect for a flash. Short and sweet and it works really well. it also loops pretty well so you're good on that. Great job!

Goodbye

Nice job here, I liked the song overall, the flute really caught me at the beginning. The beat worked really well and the pads and synths fit in really well. I did want some effects on the vocals (a tad of reverb and/or slight echo). I think I began to hear a bit of that at the end of the song but I think the rest of the song sort of took it over. Just a suggestion *shrug*. I also liked how you brought the flute back in halfway through.

All in all, nice song, 5/5 10/10.

Waking up

Nice song here. Sweet beat and seet progression. It does give you that "floating" feel like you're stuck inside a dream. Although I wanted a mid part where it faded out into the abyss and came back into the tune. I thought I heard the kick clipping in the middle, but I'm not sure..it may have just been my shitty speakers - Ah well...

Nice job on the song, 5/5, 10/10.

Mother

Wow, Excellent work here, Beacon. Your attention to detail is impressive. This song is an excellent credits song. Did you make it for a movie/game? I really love the variation in all the instruments and the choir is well used as well. The building progression also gives this song a real feel and I really like it. Also liked the key change at the end.

Great song! Going on my favs, 5/5, 10/10.

Mother III is an RPG for GBA published for Nintendo. The music was composed by Shogo Sakai, so no, I didn't make it. What I did do was reorchestrate it entirely, and rendered it in FL. So it's still my work, I just didn't write it. XD

The progression is thanks to Sakai, I just played it up. I'm glad you liked it. And man... 5/5, 10/10 AND a fave?! Man that's awesome. Thanks man, you rock! XD

Requiem

Wow, this is impressive work right here. Are these all software strings? If so, that's incredible - what instruments/software packs did you use? (Sorry I'm an information mooch).

This is a great piece with real feeling and I really respect the work you've done here. It sounds like you have a strong grasp on orchestration and it really shows.

Nice Job, 5/5, 10/10.

Wow, great mix of instruments here. I love the use of the eastern instruments and the monks (or chorus) really make them shine. The intro could have been a tad shorter, but other than that, I really liked it. We need some more tracks on here like this one. I believe this would fit perfectly into a movie/game set in the middle east (probably war like). At least that's the feel that came off to me.

Anyhow, great work! 5/5, 10/10.

Discovered.

I really liked this song, I'll have to go into your others and check them out. Had a great beat, loved the piano part and the melody was awesome. Great work with the drums. I loved the key change at the end (at least that's what it felt like - maybe you just added some different chords *shrug*) Great job, finish your others! 5/5, 10/10, fav'd.

Thanks for the review. I really appreciate it when people take the time to describe why it is that they like the song. I believe it helps me develop as an artist.

And as usual, this song is voted down again. :(

I shall take my scattered selves and make them one.
